At Image360, we believe the possibilities of visual communication are endless.
To bring a client’s ideas to life requires us to shape all those possibilities into something tangible, impactful and relevant for visitors and employees alike. And, as a full-service signage and graphics provider, we don’t want to just meet your visual marketing needs – we want to surpass them.
In order to revolutionize the way people think about your brand or product, your business needs out-of-the-box, creative thinking coupled with years of professional expertise. That’s why we foster collaborative partnerships, provide an imaginative, open environment for ideas and work with clients constantly – from inception to installation.
Personalization and engagement separates Image360 from the rest of the competition. Our comprehensive consultation process and dedicated team of graphic designers ensure you’ll get the results you want, with a unified design language that only a comprehensive graphics partner can supply.
Coordinating between different contractors, companies, freelancers and in-house team members can be a headache. What’s more, the end result is often a mishmash of fledgling ideas, rather than a cohesive brand message.
Image360 covers the spectrum of signage and graphics solutions, including indoor and outdoor signage, environmental and experimental graphics, wayfinding solutions, vehicle graphics, promotional displays, banners and much, much more. Because our scope of knowledge encompasses the entire breadth of the visual communications industry, we can take care of all of your signage needs at the same location.
With Image360, you’ll spend less time coordinating, more time thinking about the bigger picture – all while saving money and foregoing costly project management expenses.
Listening to your needs is what sets us apart. We distinguish ourselves with open and honest communication, right from the get-go.
Transforming your ideas into a reality necessitates a collaborative relationship with mutual respect. Whether you represent a Fortune 500 company or a local business, we thrive on individual feedback and knowledge of your overall goals.
We cultivate partnerships, not transactions. For us, this is not a one-and-done arrangement. At Image360, we want to build a visual communications experience that inspires pride in every contributor.
Signage is a rapidly evolving industry. Staying up-to-date on state-of-the-art technology, such as the latest printing and production equipment, allows us to maintain an advantage over our competitors.
Not to mention our usage of the highest quality materials. Of course, we’re not a style-over-substance supplier of visual marketing. Our teams work to find the best solution across all design, production and installation projects; we just have a wider toolkit at our disposal.
Our team is happy to walk you through your options and help you find the best fit.
As part of a national network comprised of over six-hundred locations, we combine the approachability and affordability of a local sign shop with the proficiency, resources and world-class talent of a larger organization.
All great accomplishments begin as ideas, not as cookie-cutter formulas. We don’t just throw a color catalog at you, circle a few premade templates to choose from and call it a day. Our team of experts wants to know your goals, inside-out. Contact us today, and learn how Image360 can help bring your visual communication ideas to life.

Customers form impressions quickly; often within seconds of arriving at a location. Before they interact with staff, products, or services, they interact with the space itself. If that space feels confusing or difficult to navigate, the experience begins with uncertainty. Good wayfinding signage eliminates that uncertainty, replacing frustration with confidence and clarity.
Wayfinding signage is not just about pointing people in the right direction. It is a strategic system that guides visitors intuitively through an environment, reinforcing brand credibility, improving accessibility, and supporting operational efficiency. In retail, healthcare, corporate campuses, educational institutions, airports, and event venues, effective wayfinding is a cornerstone of a positive customer experience.
When visitors can easily understand where they are and where they need to go, they feel more in control. That sense of control directly impacts satisfaction, dwell time, and trust in the organization managing the space. Conversely, poor navigation increases stress, creates delays, and leaves lasting negative impressions.
Wayfinding signage supports customer experience by:
These benefits are especially important in large or complex spaces where visitors may already feel anxious, rushed, or overwhelmed.
High-performing wayfinding programs rely on a layered approach that supports visitors from arrival to destination.
Outdoor wayfinding signage establishes first orientation. Parking indicators, site maps, entry signage, and building directories help visitors understand where they are before they step inside.
Interior wayfinding signage takes over once inside, guiding visitors through corridors, stairwells, elevators, and departments. Directional arrows, floor directories, and confirmation signage reassure visitors that they are on the right path.
Digital wayfinding signage enhances flexibility and responsiveness. Interactive directories, kiosks and digital displays allow organizations to update information instantly, provide multilingual support and offer mobile navigation handoffs.
When these layers work together, navigation feels natural rather than forced.
Consistency is one of the most overlooked aspects of wayfinding design. When naming conventions, typography, colors, and symbols remain uniform throughout a space, visitors learn the system quickly. If a department is labeled one way on a directory and another way on a door sign, confusion follows.
Effective wayfinding relies on:
ADA-compliant wayfinding signage is not only a legal requirement; it is a fundamental part of inclusive design. Tactile lettering, braille, high-contrast colors, and proper mounting heights ensure accessibility for individuals with visual impairments, while also improving clarity for all users.
Incorporating ADA standards from the beginning prevents costly retrofits and demonstrates a commitment to equity and user-centered design.
Even the most beautifully designed sign fails if it is placed incorrectly. Effective wayfinding signage appears precisely where decisions are made. Signs placed too early or too late force visitors to stop, turn around, or second-guess their route.
Strategic placement supports natural movement and reinforces intuitive flow.
Facilities that change frequently benefit from digital wayfinding signage. Hospitals, corporate campuses, universities, and event venues often experience room changes, tenant moves, or temporary closures. Digital systems allow instant updates without reprinting or reinstalling signage.
Interactive kiosks also reduce reliance on staff for basic directions, freeing teams to focus on higher-value interactions.
Every sign communicates something about your organization. Clean, well-designed wayfinding signage signals professionalism, preparation, and respect for the visitor’s time. Inconsistent or outdated signage sends the opposite message.
When navigation feels effortless, customers associate that ease with your brand.
Image360 approaches wayfinding as a strategic, end-to-end solution. Our process includes site audits, spatial analysis, design, fabrication, installation, and ongoing support. We align interior, exterior, and digital signage into a cohesive system that improves customer experience from day one.
From ADA-compliant room identification to complex digital wayfinding solutions, Image360 helps organizations turn complex environments into intuitive, welcoming spaces.
Request a Free QuoteCreating an accessible environment isn’t just a legal requirement, it’s a smart business decision. ADA compliance helps ensure that all visitors, including those with disabilities, can navigate, understand, and comfortably use your space. From parking lots to interior hallways, signage plays a critical role in accessibility and inclusion.
For business owners, understanding ADA signage requirements can feel overwhelming. The guidelines cover everything from font styles and tactile elements to mounting heights and placement. The good news? With the right approach and the right signage partner, compliance is achievable and sustainable.
Below are five essential tips to help ensure your business is ADA compliant, with a focus on signage that meets both legal standards and real-world usability.
The foundation of compliance starts with understanding ADA signage guidelines. These standards are established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and are enforced to ensure consistency and accessibility across public and commercial spaces.
At a high level, ADA signage must:
Not all signs in your building require tactile elements, but permanent room signs do. These signs include ones for restrooms, offices, exits, and stairwells. Directional and informational signs may have different rules, which is why understanding the distinctions early in the process is essential.
Failing to follow these guidelines can lead to failed inspections, complaints, or costly retrofits. Starting with compliance-first design saves time, money, and frustration.
One of the most common compliance issues involves ADA room signage. These signs identify permanent spaces and must meet specific requirements to be considered compliant.
ADA room signage requirements include:
Equally important are ADA Braille signage requirements, which specify dot spacing, placement, and readability. Improper Braille, such as incorrect spacing or non-compliant translation, can render a sign unusable and non-compliant.
Using professionally produced custom ADA signage ensures these details are handled correctly, eliminating guesswork and reducing liability.
Accessibility doesn’t stop at individual rooms. Visitors need to navigate your entire space confidently, which is where ADA wayfinding signs and ADA directional signage come into play.
Wayfinding signage helps guide people from one point to another, such as from entrances to elevators, restrooms, or service counters. While not all wayfinding signs require Braille, they must still meet visibility, contrast, and placement standards.
Effective ADA wayfinding signs:
When done correctly, ADA wayfinding signage improves the experience for all visitors, not just those with disabilities. Clear navigation reduces confusion, improves traffic flow, and creates a more professional environment overall.
Compliance extends beyond your front door. ADA exterior signage is just as critical as interior signs and is often the first thing visitors encounter.
ADA parking signage must clearly identify accessible parking spaces, including van-accessible spots where required. These signs must:
Inside and outside your building, ADA exit signage must be clearly marked and easy to identify, especially in emergency situations. Exit signs should be placed consistently and never obstructed by décor or temporary displays.
Additionally, ADA interior signage, such as directories, elevators, stairwells, and restrooms, must work together with exterior signs to create a seamless, accessible experience from arrival to departure.
Even perfectly designed signs can fail compliance if they’re installed incorrectly. ADA signage height requirements are strict and often misunderstood.
Key placement rules include:
Proper placement ensures that individuals who rely on touch or close-range reading can easily locate and use signage. This applies to everything from ADA room signage to restroom signs and stairwell identifiers.
Working with experienced signage professionals helps ensure both design and installation meet ADA standards—avoiding compliance gaps that can trigger violations.
ADA compliance isn’t a one-time task. As your business grows, remodels, or changes layouts, your signage must evolve with it. Regular audits of your ADA signage requirements help ensure continued compliance and demonstrate your commitment to accessibility.
Beyond meeting legal standards, accessible signage sends a powerful message: your business values inclusion, usability, and customer experience.
At image30.com, we specialize in custom ADA signage solutions that meet regulatory requirements while aligning with your brand. From ADA directional signage and wayfinding signs to compliant room, parking, interior, and exterior signage, our team helps businesses create spaces that work for everyone.
If you’re unsure whether your current signage meets ADA signage guidelines, now is the time to review, update, and invest in accessibility, because compliance isn’t just about following the rules, it’s about welcoming every visitor with confidence.
Request a Free QuoteWhen it comes to visual communication, signs and graphics are some of the most powerful tools a business can use. Whether it’s a bold storefront sign that draws customers in, a window graphic that shares your hours, or a vehicle wrap turning heads on the highway, great signage does more than just decorate—it communicates clearly, quickly and memorably.
But behind every clean, compelling sign is a thoughtful design process that balances creativity with function. At Image360, we’ve helped businesses of all sizes turn simple ideas into eye-catching signs and impactful graphics. And while every project is unique, the best designs almost always rely on a few trusted tricks.
Let’s pull back the curtain and explore the design principles that make signs work—and how you can use them to get noticed.
Signs that try to do too much and say everything to everyone often end up doing very little. Focusing your design around one key message or action gives your audience a better chance of remembering it.
Designing a great sign starts with a simple question: What does this sign need to do?
Are you welcoming customers in? Directing traffic? Promoting a limited-time sale? Informing people of safety regulations?
The function of your sign should drive the design. A directional sign, for example, should be ultra-simple—bold text, clear arrows, and high contrast. A promotional banner might allow for more visual flair, but still needs to communicate a core message at a glance.
Signs that try to do too much and say everything to everyone often end up doing very little. Focusing your design around one key message or action gives your audience a better chance of remembering it.
The biggest mistake people make in signage design? Assuming it will be read up close.
The truth is most signs (especially outdoor signs, vehicle graphics, and trade show displays) need to be read quickly and often from far away. That means font size, spacing and contrast are critical.
A good rule of thumb: for every 10 feet of viewing distance, your text should be at least 1 inch tall. So, if someone needs to read your message from 50 feet away, your text should be about 5 inches high or larger.
Also important: choose fonts that are clean and legible. Avoid thin, overly stylized, or script fonts for main messages. And make sure there’s a strong contrast between your text and background. Black on yellow? Great. Light gray on white? Not so much.
The best signs don’t say a lot; they say the right things.
In signage, less truly is more. Your audience may have just a few seconds to glance at your sign, especially if they’re driving or walking past. That means your design should be stripped down to the essentials: a headline, a logo, a key phrase and maybe a website or phone number.
This doesn’t mean your design has to be boring—just intentional. Use bold shapes, strong lines, and focused layouts to guide the viewer’s eye. Let each element have room to breathe.
White space (or negative space) is your friend. It helps create focus and makes your sign feel more polished and professional.
Color does more than make your sign look good. Iit influences how people feel and respond.
For example:
But beyond emotional impact, color plays a technical role: enhancing contrast and readability. You want your key information to stand out, not blend into the background.
Make sure your color choices work under real-world lighting like sunlight, shade, headlights, or indoor fluorescents. A design that looks great on screen might fall flat in bright sunlight or at night. That’s why we often provide color proofs or recommend materials that enhance visibility based on location.
Designing a sign in isolation is like designing a suit without knowing where you’ll wear it. The context matters.
Will your sign be placed on a glass door, a brick wall, or a moving vehicle? Will people view it from the sidewalk or a busy highway? Indoors under bright lights or outdoors in changing weather?
Each of these environments comes with unique design challenges. For example:
At Image360, we always think about installation location during the design phase, not as an afterthought. That means using mockups, measuring sightlines, and choosing materials that hold up under specific conditions.
Great branding isn’t just about having a nice logo—it’s about using that logo (and colors, fonts, and tone) consistently across every sign and graphic.
Whether it’s your main building sign, interior wall graphics, window decals or trade show banners, each element should look and feel like part of the same brand family. This kind of visual consistency builds familiarity, trust, and a stronger brand identity over time.
Using your brand style guide is incredibly helpful here. It ensures that every vendor, designer, or printer you work with is using the same rules like color codes, spacing and logo versions. And when that consistency extends across physical signs, vehicle graphics, digital ads, and print, your brand becomes instantly recognizable.
Sometimes, we’re too close to our own designs to see what’s missing or what’s confusing.
That’s why it’s smart to get outside feedback before your sign goes into production. Show it to someone unfamiliar with the project. Ask them what stands out first, what the message is, and if anything feels unclear or unnecessary.
Also, look at the design at full size (or a printed mockup) from a distance and in different lighting. What looks balanced on a screen might feel off when viewed on a 6-foot banner from across a parking lot.
It’s always easier and cheaper to make design tweaks earlier on than to reprint or reinstall after the fact.
At the end of the day, the best signage design isn’t about being the flashiest; it’s about being the clearest. Whether your goal is to attract attention, guide visitors, or reinforce your brand, every element of your sign should be working toward that goal.
Great design doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of smart choices, real-world testing, and a deep understanding of how people see and read in everyday environments.

Request a Free QuotePut yourself in the shoes of a passerby and see if your outdoor and indoor displays are both easy to read and an extension of your company’s identity. Whether you change your messages often to promote seasonal sales or events, or need long-lasting solutions to identify your location, keeping your signage in good condition will help make sure your messages stand out in a crowded marketplace!
A sign audit is one of the best possible ways you can quickly identify your immediate needs. A review is best when conducted alongside an experienced sign provider or designer that can help you identify what kind of repairs or replacements may be needed. Better yet, they may have the eye to help you see what you’re missing entirely when it comes to signs or graphics!
Do your signs reflect your branding?
As one of your most important communication tools, your signs need to convey information AND reflect your brand. Consistent type fonts, colors and styles applied to your signage will help customers recognize your company and the products or services you offer.
How’s your visibility?
Attracting attention and communicating with those passing by your location is important. Are overgrown trees and bushes obscuring the view? How about competing signs? You may need to re-examine the placement of your outdoor displays. Be mindful of indoor signs, too. That big, bright and impressive new floor display may be blocking a sign that reminds visitors of social distancing or mask requirements! to keep in mind when you’re addressing visibility.
Is anything in need of repair?
Make sure you’re assessing for overall quality. A quickly printed and taped-up sign will eventually need to be upgraded to something longer-lasting. Outdoor signage weathers over time, with colors fading due to UV rays, or damage being caused by weather or pests. Poor-looking outdoor signs may discourage customers from even stopping in due to the impression they give off. Check out for some additional tips on determining whether it’s time for a repair or replacement!
Are you taking advantage of all available space?
Outdoor signs, for example, need not be limited to the side of your building. Use roadside space, , windows, doors and more to convey your messages! Indoors, consider enhancing bare spaces with custom branding and non-skid, vinyl floor graphics. And don’t overlook . Even when parked outside after hours, a branded car, truck or trailer will continue to call attention to your business!
Is your signage in compliance with ADA and other regulations?
As part of your audit, you should make sure your permanent outdoor and indoor signs adhere to any national and local guidelines that apply to you. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) also addresses specifications for many signs throughout your facility. Penalties for non-compliance can be costly, so you’ll want to be sure your audit encompasses these key requirements. Check out this infographic for some basics on ADA compliance!

Request a Free QuoteGraphics and displays are some of the most impactful tools in any small business marketing toolkit. Effective signs don’t simply relay information – they create an identity for your company that resonate with your audience.
Studies have shown that more than half of consumers report that the absence of quality signs deters them from entering a business (1). Your indoor and outdoor displays reflect the quality of the product or service you provide.
When done right, an advertising campaign focusing on the signage at your location can enhance brand recognition, build trust and ultimately influence more purchasing decisions. Here’s a look at the process for developing a strategy to maximize the impact of your graphics:
Every successful campaign begins with a clear objective. Ask yourself what you want to achieve with your signs: Are you launching a new product that you want to spotlight? Do you hope to improve navigation for a better in-store customer experience? Do you have a limited-time sale that you want to promote? Are you hoping to just attract new customers and strengthen your brand’s visibility?
Your goal will influence all other decisions, such as the type of display you’ll need and where to install it. Take the time to clarify your objective before moving forward, as a focused campaign is far more effective than a scattershot approach.
Selecting the right kind of sign is critical to effectively delivering your message. Different signage solutions align better with different objectives, so it’s important to know your options.
Indoor signs, such as banner stands, wall graphics, and countertop displays, can help you create an immersive in-store experience for your audience. They’re ideal for providing information about special events and guiding customers to specific areas (such as reception or checkout).
Outdoor graphics are often the first interaction your target audience has with your brand. These include everything from dimensional building letters and monument signs to A-frames and vehicle wraps. Exterior signage helps to capture the attention of passers-by and initially establish your brand presence. It should also contain some key information about your business, such as your operating hours.
Temporary signage like yard signs, banners, and feather flags allows for flexibility right when you need it. If you have a pop-up event or a seasonal sale, use them to promote what’s going on and then take them down and store them when they’re not needed.
How your signs are designed means the difference between drawing in new customers and being ignored completely. Here are a few tips on how you can get the results you want to see:
Bold text: Your audience should be able to read your message at a distance. Use bold, clean, sans-serif fonts and a limited amount of text to ensure maximum legibility.
Maintain consistency: Your signage should reflect your brand identity and remain consistent with your other materials. Stick to your brand colors and fonts used elsewhere to build cohesiveness.
Include a call to action: Direct your audience toward the next step you want them to take, whether it’s “visit us now” or “call for a free quote.”
Even the most beautifully designed pieces won’t help your business if no one can see them. Placement is crucial for maximizing your exposure and relevance. While your exact installation strategy will depend on your goals and audience, you should always ask yourself:
Where is my target audience most likely to see my message? Can I take advantage of high-traffic areas near my business? What are the sightlines and competing distractions for my location?
For example, outdoor signs should be placed near entrances and busy areas, like intersections, where many people move through them. Indoors, they should be prioritized around lobbies, reception areas, or checkout areas where customers naturally gather. Ensure that your signs are easily readable at a distance to maximize their impact.
When planned and executed thoughtfully, your signage can be a significant boon to your marketing goals. In today’s highly competitive business landscape, having effective graphics is essential to your success and having a partner like Image360 who can guide you through planning and executing a signage campaign can ensure your goals are met. Graphics and displays are some of the most impactful tools in any small business marketing toolkit.

You may have noticed that we recently updated our brand tagline. But you may be wondering why we went with “Bold Solutions. Exceptional Support.”
This change didn’t happen overnight. We spent extensive time researching options to figure out how to quickly summarize what Image360 is able to offer – both from a product and customer experience.
Simply put, this tagline is meant to showcase how our Centres across the United States and Canada provide truly innovative solutions that help our clients make an impressive, lasting visual impact wherever they need. It reflects our mission to provide dynamic solutions and an outstanding customer service experience to every client.
Let’s go ahead and break it down a little further, though.
The first half of this tagline showcases the Image360 value of boldness: the ability to be confident and willing to take risks. Instead, we’re here to ensure our customers receive solutions that are custom-tailored to their needs. We’re also dedicated to staying on the cutting edge of technology to provide you with the latest trends and highest-quality materials.

Our goal is to ensure that you have a smooth, seamless customer experience throughout the entire project process.
This new tagline encapsulates what Image360 is all about – and we hope you agree.

Request a Free QuoteYou want your healthcare facility to be a warm, welcoming environment for patients and visitors. With how busy many facilities and clinics can get, it’s important that you have the right signs and graphics that can deliver the smooth experience you want your patients to have.
Knowing how you can successfully guide and inform your patients in such a busy environment can be a challenge. Consider how you can use these strategies when planning for signs, graphics and displays in and around your healthcare facility:
A good wayfinding system includes both outdoor and indoor signage so that everyone can easily find where to go from the instant they arrive. Outdoors, make sure that everyone can clearly find the right building and parking lot with big, visible signs. Indoors, consider using floor and ceiling graphics as part of your wayfinding system to easily guide patients to the right department or office – and to keep them out of sensitive areas.
A trip to the hospital naturally induces anxiety, so consider using wall and window graphics to develop an atmosphere that soothes. It’s easy to lighten the mood with cleverly-designed graphics or an attractive wall mural, or to reassure patients with informative displays that educate about new technology or procedures.
Regulatory signage, such as graphics and signs that adhere to the Americans with Disabilities Act, is mandatory for your building. Though there are strict guidelines that you’ll need to adhere to, that doesn’t preclude you from adding your own touch to such signs. When working with the Image360 designers, you’ll be able to develop signs that stay compliant while maintaining consistency for your branding throughout your building.
Ultimately, a good sign and graphics solution in your facility will be informative, educational and visible, all while enhancing and complementing your branding and messaging in a way that delivers consistency. Though it’s important that your facility is as sterile and as safe as it can possibly be for all, that doesn’t mean that your hallways and waiting rooms need to be dull or clinical. Adding the right kind of graphics and signs can transform any space into a soothing environment that’s easy to navigate.

When it comes to designing good environmental graphics, colours do more than just meet the eye – they trigger emotional and psychological responses in your audience. Incorporating strategic colour choices into your environmental design is an essential part of the process of creating user experiences that captivate and inspire your target audience in unique ways.
Colour psychology is an interdisciplinary field that incorporates architecture, design and psychology in order to understand how our physical surroundings can influence our mental state at any given time. A stronger understanding of how your audience’s mind will perceive a space based on the colour choices you make can help you decide what the space should look like.
Generally speaking, warm colours like red and yellow evoke a sense of energy, and are great for social spaces, while cooler colours like blues and greens are better for calming, relaxation-focused environments (1). Your choices will depend on your industry, what kind of personality your business hopes to convey, as well as what each individual space is being used for within a larger building.
When it comes down to picking the right shade for you and your environment, think about the associated psychological effects that they may bring for your staff and guests.
Red: Red is a bold, bright colour that is linked to passion and power. It can quickly raise the energy level of any area but can also be overwhelming when there’s too much of it. Using it as an accent can help drive a desired sense of action in a workplace. Orange: Great for evoking feelings of warmth, orange is a refreshing warm tone that is associated with energy and success. It’s often seen at gyms thanks to this association, but in an office, can help boost productivity by keeping energy levels up. Yellow: Bright and sunny, yellows are a great mood-booster in any environment thanks to their association with joy and happiness. Of course, they’re equally known for being aligned with safety and caution, making them a good choice for a variety of workplace situations. Green: The colour of nature, greens are linked to feeling refreshed and renewed. They’re great for areas where relaxation is the goal, such as break rooms, reception areas or in healthcare settings. Blue: Cool and calming, blues create a sense of peace that allows your audience to exhale and enjoy. They’re good in workplaces for enhancing focus and productivity but can also be used to inspire a sense of confidence and reliability. Purple: The colour of royalty, purples are ideal in customer-facing environments to create a sense of wealth and luxury, helping to appeal to a buyer’s sense of receiving a high-end experience. Black: Stark and bold, black provides a sense of strength and power – but it can also lend a sense of sophistication. As a very dark colour, it’s wise to use black as accents, rather than flooding a space with it, which can cause an area to feel small and shut-in. White: Associated with purity, simplicity and cleanliness, white is a great starting point for many kinds of spaces. It’s frequently used in healthcare environments to create a sense of sterility and cleanliness, but too much can become stark; use it as a base for other colours. Grey: A neutral area between black and white, greys are great for conveying that exact kind of balance. It’s a versatile colour often used for hallways, reception areas and offices thanks to its timeless nature. Brown: Thanks to being an earth tone, brown is associated very closely with nature. It’s used often in conjunction with greens to develop that sense of serenity and renewal that comes with a more natural environment.Workplace layouts go well beyond colour choices. You’ll want to ensure that your goal – whether it be fostering collaboration, increasing productivity, inspiring purchases or anything else – can be met through other means of environmental design.
Emerging trends in design have helped make spaces of all kinds more aligned with the goals that drive them. Minimalism and eco-friendly designs are both at the forefront of these trends, with many designers going out of their way to reduce visual clutter, or to bring the outdoors in. Being environmentally friendly with your design can also help enhance your brand reputation among your customers, too!
You’ll also want to consider overall comfort at work though ergonomics, which can involve choosing what kind of desks and chairs your employees receive – but also boils down to having an overall comfortable, well-designed workspace. A happy staff is a more motivated, productive staff!
Leveraging colour psychology in your design is an art, but we’re here to help. Contact us for a free consultation on how your workplace or storefront can be improved through clever use of colour.
So you’ve just recently purchased a company vehicle to assist your business in making deliveries, sales or service calls. Fresh off the lot, your new car might have a shiny new paint job – but there’s nothing to distinguish it as belonging to your business. That’s where vehicle graphics come in!
Studies have shown that vehicle graphics, such as wraps and decals, are among the most cost-effective outdoor marketing mediums available. They deliver a better value on a cost-per-thousand impressions basis than television, magazines, newspapers or radio! In fact, according to 3M, fleet graphics can cost as little as just 15 cents per thousand impressions, compared to online ads which can cost up to $21 per thousand impressions.
The same studies showed that vehicle advertising can generate between 30,000-70,000 impressions daily. To do some quick math, that adds up to millions of impressions every year!
But there’s a lot of options available to you when it comes to vehicle and fleet graphics. How do you know what’s going to be best for you and your business?
Vinyl lettering is one of the simpler and more economical choices. These can be applied to your company car, truck, trailer or van. They are great to use when your vehicles are not the primary promotional medium for your business, but instead are a useful complement to other methods.
Most businesses will use vehicle lettering to spell out their company name and slogan, alongside other key information such as their address, phone number and website, or identifiers such as DOT numbers. Lettering can be placed anywhere on a vehicle but is best for small, flat surfaces such as doors, windows and tailgates.
A big upside to using vehicle lettering is the relatively low cost of entry, in addition to how fast they can be installed. However, they do not carry the same kind of visibility as other vehicle graphic options, as they are often limited to just one color. Used on their own, vinyl letters are best for conveying a limited amount of information in a small space.
Often used in tandem with lettering, decals are custom-designed and made to order, and are most frequently used to recreate a company logo. There are other uses for decals, though – some business owners will use them to call attention to the nature of their business. For instance, a florist may add decals of flowers on their delivery vehicles, or a restaurant may feature images of specific dishes in addition to their logo.
Using decals alongside vinyl lettering is an easy, cost-effective way to create a more interesting look for your vehicle without going all-out on a wrap. However, they still do not have the same kind of big visual impact of a wrap and aren’t good for when you need to showcase detailed photos of your products.
These wraps are the next step up from lettering and decals in terms of visual impact. These vinyl graphics cover part of your vehicle with a promotional or informational message and are often used by businesses that use their company vehicles extensively for sales, service or delivery calls.
In the case of partial wraps, most businesses use them to cover the sides, the front or the back of their car, truck, van or trailer. Vinyl is printed with your design, which frequently will feature your logo, company name, phone number and website alongside additional graphics to enhance the look of your vehicle.
A benefit to using a partial wrap in lieu of a full wrap is the cost savings – less area to cover generally means less of your budget to spend. In addition, when used alongside well-placed decals and lettering, you can achieve a “fully wrapped” look for your vehicle without actually fully wrapping it.
As the name implies, these deliver a full, maximum visual impact for your vehicle! These custom vinyl graphics cover your entire vehicle and may even extend to the roof and bumpers. Full wraps are often the prime promotional choice of businesses whose trucks and vans are their leading option for promotions. For example, it’s not uncommon to see entire fleets of delivery trucks, cleaning vans and more attired in full wraps.
Some companies even take things a step further and add designs to the windows, too! This is done through perforated vinyl that allows those inside to see out.
A full vinyl wrap is going to have by far the biggest visual impact for your business, allowing you to showcase custom designs or photographs alongside the most important information about your company. However, full wraps are also going to eat more of your budget than other options.

Request a Free QuoteWhat happens when you run an attraction that requires signage of all kinds – indoor, outdoor, wayfinding, directional, information and much more – but you rely primarily on donations to keep things going? You count on the pros at Image360 to make the absolute most of your budget!
Image360 has enjoyed partnerships with many organizations like the Virginia Zoo. The creative team has provided signage across the zoo’s sprawling 53 acres, including revamping signs around the Trail of the Tiger as well as updating graphics throughout other indoor and outdoor areas.
“We’ve worked with them for a while, and they have signage everywhere, ” said Jodi Bell, Account Manager. “There’s still so much to update out there, so they’re kind of piecemealing different projects as they go.”
The zoo, which is more than 100 years old, relies primarily on the support of its members for funding. This means that every dollar counts and has to be stretched as far as possible. For the team at Image360, enhancing the visitor experience at the zoo while working within financial constraints has been a challenge – but one worth tackling, especially given the zoo’s history in the area.
The Image360 team chose to work with polyvinyl chloride, also known as PVC, due to its unique combination of being both sturdy and affordable.
“Finding the right materials and making them last as long as they possibly can has been the biggest challenge, ” Bell said. “The zoo wants to keep most of the same basic structures and add to them, and whoever did these signs previously hasn’t always used the best materials. We try to update everything in a way that’s going to last while also look good.”
Image360 provided outdoor signage printed on sturdy black PVC – chosen over white PVC due to its tendency to weather better – with a liquid laminate finish to add even more durability. Additionally, the Centre has so far designed and crafted a large cast vinyl sign for the zoo’s pavilion, and indoor vinyl graphics (also mounted on PVC to ensure they last as long as possible). Other graphics produced have included entryway signage, corporate sponsor signs and donor recognition graphics, with more renovations and updates planned in the years to come.
“So far, the signs we’ve done for the zoo have worked out well, ” Bell said. “We did one like three or four years ago, and the colours are still super vibrant.”
Working with the zoo hasn’t just yielded great-looking signage, but has been an ongoing partnership that the Image360 team has thrived in.
“The connection is deep, because there are so many people that go through here. It’s nice that the signs we’ve done have lasted so well

Perhaps because they stand out so prominently compared to plain, one-color cars, trucks, vans and trailers, people take notice of vehicle graphics. More importantly, they like them, too!
According to a :
Of course, vehicle graphics in the form or vinyl lettering, decals, partial wraps and full wraps bring other benefits to businesses, organizations and event planners. They’re relatively easy to apply — meaning you won’t take your vehicle out of service for long at the application stage. They’re attractive, offer a long service life and actually protect the finish of your car.
Vehicle graphics in vinyl are also affordable — costing less than a custom paint job. You’ll choose from vinyl letters and numerals, decals, partial wraps and full wraps, all at various price points.
What’s more, these promotional solutions in vinyl are removable. When it comes time to restore your car, truck or trailer to its original look, you can do so by having a professional peel off the vehicle graphic. That makes them ideal for even leased vehicles or for shorter-term usage such as on sponsor cars and transit buses for golf tournaments and similar special events.
What kind of design tips can we offer if you want yours to look their very best? Here are five top vehicle graphic ideas to help guide your way:
Your company’s logo and identity (e.g., corporate colors and typeface) should always be the primary message for your vehicle graphics. Your lettering, decal, partial or full wrap should complement the look of your location’s signage — and vice versa!
To make it memorable keep it simple! The ranking for the information you’ll put on the side of your car, truck or trailer should be: Logo/Brand, Tagline, Phone Number and Website Address. Think of your vehicle graphic as a billboard, not a print ad!
Motorists and pedestrians alike should be able to know at-a-glance the nature of your business by your custom graphics. Selling flowers? Show a bouquet. Repairing furnaces? How about a smiling service person with a toolbox in hand?
Having decided on a partial or full wrap, many advertisers want to fill every square inch of it with background graphics, shadows, photos and more. Resist the urge! The visual “noise” is overkill and can distract viewers from your key information.
When on the road, viewers will have but seconds to comprehend your promotional message. So, as you review solutions, always consider the key “takeaway” you’re hoping to leave with viewers. Does your custom design effectively communicate it?

Vinyl floor graphics offered by Image360® are a versatile way to communicate; they can be used for marketing purposes but that’s just the beginning. Floor graphics can be used to point the way to certain areas of your store and help your customers find what they need. They can also be used to warn customers and employees alike of hazards in an area and help to keep people safe.
These graphics can be changed with the seasons and used to announce sales or special one-time events. Depending on the options you choose, they can go just about anywhere to help introduce you to a wider audience.
You can choose between vinyl floor graphics that are semi-permanent and floor graphics that are removable. Semi-permanent floor graphics are useful to greet visitors to your establishment with your company name and logo. These long-lasting vinyl floor graphics are also useful to point the way to certain areas or to advise people of safety measures that must be taken in a particular area.
For example, if you have a door to a storage area that closes automatically or swings in more than one direction, a vinyl floor graphic can warn people of the potential hazard. If you have an area in which hardhats or safety goggles must be worn, a floor graphic can let people know, while a removable floor sticker may be preferable for a short-term hazard, such as an area or fixture that is currently undergoing repairs or renovations.
However, removable vinyl floor graphics needn’t be confined to your physical location. They can go along with you wherever you need them in order to announce your company to the world. For example, if you attend promotional events such as trade shows, you’ll be competing for attention against a lot of different competitors. A removable floor decal featuring your company name and logo is one way of making your business stand out from the others and capturing people’s attention, and it can be customized to match the existing accessories at your booth. When you’re done with one show, simply remove the floor graphic along with the rest of your booth accessories and head on to the next show.
Another great advantage of vinyl floor graphics is that you can them apply indoors as well as outdoors. Outdoor vinyl floor graphics are great to use for seasonal promotions and special events such as a summer sidewalk sale, during which your storefront is likely to see an increase in foot traffic.
Whether you choose indoor floor graphics or the outdoor variety, they can adhere to just about any surface:
Preventing slip-and-fall accidents is one of the foremost concerns of any business owner; not only can valued customers and employees come to harm as a result of such an accident, but the costs associated with them (medical bills, legal fees, etc.) can be damaging as well. Better to prevent such accidents from occurring in the first place, and that’s why our custom vinyl floor graphics are non-skid so that they will stay in place and those who walk on them can retain a sure footing.
Another desirable feature is that floor graphics offer a variety of options in regard to shapes, sizes and colors, and they can be customized with the design of your choice. You can install them yourself, or you can rely on our team of experts.

Request a Free QuoteYou know what they say — you never get a second chance to make a first impression. This is just as true for your storefront and branding as it is for meeting with new customers.
So, how can you use the first impression of your storefront to draw in customers, generate buzz and elevate the look of your store?
When you're creating for your business, the first thing that you need to consider is how that design connects with your target market and reflects the values, story, and overall message of your branding strategy.
Your storefront design should be eye-catching and make it easy for customers to understand what products and services you offer. Your signage needs to reinforce the branding that you've already worked to create. For example, if you plan to include text on your window decal design, make sure that it's in the same font that you use on your business cards and website. Including your logo will make it easier for people to recognize your brand, whether they see your logo on your product packaging, a sign along the road or on your window decal. If you've recently undergone a rebranding or have redesigned your logo, ensure that your window signage has been properly updated to reflect those changes.Having storefront signage that is clear and easy to read is another crucial element to consider when you're putting together the right design.
Always ensure that people can easily see and read the name of your business and any other text or images you use. You'll need to take a look at your signage from different angles, as well as different distances.
The overall legibility of a design is essential to keep in mind when choosing a font for your design and branding. While an elegant and loopy script might look great up close, it can look like a jumble of lines and letters from further away.
You also need to think about the overall type of window signage that's right for your storefront.
For example, can you fit all the information you need on a single window pane? Or, would it look better to stretch your design across several consecutive panels?
Are you interested in a frosted effect with vinyl graphics? Or do you want something more temporary that can be easily repositioned or removed? You could also choose perforated vinyl that shows your design as opaque from the outside, yet allows visibility out of your window from the interior.
There are a lot of design options to choose from for your storefront signage, and our team can help you find the right solution! to get started on your next project.
